Teen with Ovarian Cancer Collects 13,000 Pounds of Food For Homeless As Her WishJesusDaily PH
A teen used the opportunity of a lifetime to help others who are less fortunate than she is. Emma Allred of Idaho has been fighting a rare form of ovarian cancer since she was 10. Now 13, she was granted a special request by the Make-a-Wish Foundation. She wanted to feed the homeless and asked the foundation to organize a food drive in her name. Hundreds of people from her community turned out, along with some corporations to create one epic food drive. 13 thousand pounds of food were donated.
Dear Sister and Brother,
1. God IS in control
2. Life is not always fair, it rains on the just and the unjust…we should not compare our lives to others but focus on the plan God has for us.
3. Bad things will happen in this world, but God promised us a home in heaven if we believe in Jesus. One without sorrow, pain or death…where we never will grow old.
