Teen With Bone Cancer Marries His High School Sweetheart In Hospital ICUJesus Daily
Two high school sweethearts celebrate the happiest day of their lives in such a sad place. In the middle of the lobby of the ICU unit of an Oklahoma hospital Swift Myers said ‘I do’ to Abbi Ruker. Swift was diagnosed with bone cancer in the 7th grade. Following graduation, Swift fell in to a coma for days. When he woke up he was certain he wanted Abbi to be his wife. So he proposed. Two days later, they got married.
Dear Sister and Brother,
1. God IS in control
2. Life is not always fair, it rains on the just and the unjust…we should not compare our lives to others but focus on the plan God has for us.
3. Bad things will happen in this world, but God promised us a home in heaven if we believe in Jesus. One without sorrow, pain or death…where we never will grow old.
