Stranger Returns WWII Jacket Found In Her Closet To Widow Of Army Veteran

These two strangers were brought together because of this military jacket from WWII. It was buried in the back of Kathy Bold’s closet in St. Louis, Missouri. She thought it belonged to her father who was in the army. But when she took it out for Veteran’s Day she realized it wasn’t. After lots of research Katy found out based on the faded numbers and name, it really belonged to Norma Prescott’s late husband. Veteran Dewey Prescott from Florida died in 2010.

Dear Sister and Brother,

1. God IS in control

2. Life is not always fair, it rains on the just and the unjust…we should not compare our lives to others but focus on the plan God has for us.

3. Bad things will happen in this world, but God promised us a home in heaven if we believe in Jesus. One without sorrow, pain or death…where we never will grow old.
