You won’t believe this brilliant idea that can help homeless veterans get back on their feet!

Three men came up with a brilliant idea to serve the homeless veterans in Missouri. Their idea: build a community of 50 tiny homes to give the homeless vets for free!

The Veterans Community Project (VCP) is a nonprofit that the three men started. Why did they want to do this, well because the three are also veterans themselves! They wrote this on their website to explain why these veterans need this support program:

“Going from extreme isolation to extreme socialization can be very overwhelming and cause unwanted outcomes. We believe that handing the veteran the keys to their own home and letting them socialize at their own pace is key to a successful outcome.”

The best part about these tiny homes is that they are fully furnished and stocked with food! The plan also includes programs to help these vets get back on their feet.

“We would then stabilize them to educate and support them on reintegrating into society all while treating and addressing their housing barriers as we move them into permanent housing,” the VCP writes on their website.

Volunteers are working to build 50 houses that will each be 20 feet long and 240 square feet in size. VCP plans to have four acres of land filled with tiny houses by the winter of 2017! God bless them!

Brothers and Sisters,

1.God has a specific calling for our lives and we must seek Him everyday.

2.God allows us to go through things so that we can emphasize with others who are suffering and share the news of Jesus with them.

3.Pray for God to lead you to serve those who have nothing.

Share this incredible story to help the VCP in all the amazing work they do!
