Mom Surprises Schools With Supplies On What Would Have Been Her Son’s First Day

A mother in Florida loses her fifteen-month-old son, Carsyn, after he drowns in a neighbor’s koi pond. In hopes of keeping his memory alive, Courtney Scott raised money on a Facebook page to buy supplies for local schools. This year, which would have been Carsyn’s first in Kindergarten, she was able to drop off more than $1,500 worth of items such as markers, glue, pencils and backpacks to seven schools. The mother of four also started a “pay it forward” campaign that has obviously taken flight.

Dear Sister and Brother,

1. God IS in control

2. Life is not always fair, it rains on the just and the unjust…we should not compare our lives to others but focus on the plan God has for us.

3. Bad things will happen in this world, but God promised us a home in heaven if we believe in Jesus. One without sorrow, pain or death…where we never will grow old.
