Man With Terminal Lung Disease Finishes Full Marathon with Oxygen TankJesus Daily
A man with terminal lung disease was determined to complete the Seattle marathon. What it took was almost 11 hours and some help carrying his oxygen tanks the whole way. Evans Wilson used to be able to complete a mile in less than five minutes as a competitive runner, but now he suffers from pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension. Even though his doctors discouraged him, he says he wanted to participate in the marathon to raise money for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
