How This Woman’s ‘Thank You’ To Man Who Fired Her Ended Up Paying Off Big TimeJesus Daily
A new Chicken Soup for the Soul book has 101 stories of things to be thankful for. The book, ‘The Power of Gratitude’ was co-authored by Deborah Norville. One of the many stories featured in the book is from Lindy Schneider. She had been downsized out of a new job. As they spoke and they were so weary and their faces so dejected she looked at them and said ‘thank you.’ When she got home that evening, she had a message was from a recruiter who said she had been recommended for a position.
“Dear Sister and Brother,
1. God IS in control
2. Life is not always fair, it rains on the just and the unjust…we should not compare our lives to others but focus on the plan God has for us.
3. Bad things will happen in this world, but God promised us a home in heaven if we believe in Jesus. One without sorrow, pain or death…where we never will grow old.
