Girl Born With Cleft Lip Raises $19,000 With Lemonade Stand For Kids Like HerJesus Daily
A girl born with a cleft lip raises $19,000 for kids who have same condition, all with a lemonade stand. Ella Pastorelli’s parents, Kelli and James, found out about their daughter’s cleft lip while Kelli was pregnant. They were able to pay for a corrective surgery, but wanted to give to those who weren’t as fortunate. Since then, nine-year-old Ella has held a lemonade stand to raise money for Smile Train, an international charity that provides free surgeries for children with cleft lips and cleft palates.
“Dear Sister and Brother,
1. God IS in control
2. Life is not always fair, it rains on the just and the unjust…we should not compare our lives to others but focus on the plan God has for us.
3. Bad things will happen in this world, but God promised us a home in heaven if we believe in Jesus. One without sorrow, pain or death…where we never will grow old.
