God protects sleeping baby when a Burglar caught on tape watches him as parents sleep.

It’s hard to understand the criminal mind! In this case, it is mind-blowing to think about what was captured on home surveillance footage when a man broke into one home. The man meanders through the house, but he stops one place in particular – and it’s chilling!!

The burglar entered the house and got away with a laptop and some cash. Imagine the parents surprise when they saw what the camera captured!! The burglar was in no hurry, and after a bit of time in the house moved on to enter and burglarize another home in the neighborhood.

The video was circulated to news outlets, as police sought to catch the thief.

Few things could be more disturbing to a parent. Security cameras are meant to detour would-be criminals. In this case, it seems, at times, as if the burglar realizes the camera is there and looks right into it.

We know that this world is full of people who want to engage in evil activities. So, how can we keep our peace amid such things? The baby in this video slept through the entire ordeal – unaware of the potential danger. God was watching over him!! Do you agree??

Like this baby, Jesus was caught sleeping during a situation that was dangerous. Or, was it?? Matthew 8:23-25 tells us:

“When He (Jesus) got into the boat, His disciples followed Him. Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was engulfed by the waves; but Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

Jesus was sleeping. He was at peace. He knew he was secure in God’s hands. Jesus next rebuked the wind and waves, and then he rebuked the disciples for their lack of faith.

Various types of storms exist all around, and we are not always spared from their effects; but, God tells us he is our security and our help in times of trouble. Do you believe that?

Dr. Tabor gives us three Bible verses that show God is our security

Hebrews 13:5b-6 – … He has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” We are not to fear man, because we are secure that God is with us and will help us, guide us and strengthen us no matter what happens.

Psalm 46:1-3 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. We are not to fear earthy calamity; as the popular hymn stanza says, “the wind and waves still know His voice who ruled them while he dwelt below.” God is in control of nature. Even when natural disaster strikes, God accomplishes his purposes and we see him show his love and mercy at work in individual situations.

John 10:28 – I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. We forever belong to Jesus if we put our trust in Him. We can know that no matter what happens here on earth, we have an eternal home in heaven with Jesus.

Do you have that security? If not, do you want it?? Tell Jesus today, and then share this video and your faith with someone today!
